The princess accused her husband of infidelity and being preoccupied with his other companions.

The couple married in 2023, joining their respective royal families. The Insta-divorce occurred a few months after they welcomed their first child.

Who is Sheikha Mahra?

Sheikha Mahra is one of the 26 children of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates. With over 450,000 Instagram followers, she gained prominence for her support of regional designers and her steadfast advocacy for women’s empowerment.

Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana’s Relationship Timeline:

1. Engagement: The couple announced their engagement in March of the previous year through the Arabian Royal Agency. To commemorate the occasion, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, Sheikha Mahra’s father-in-law, wrote a poem.
2. Wedding: Their wedding ceremony, known as Katb Al-Kitab, was held over a month later, in accordance with Islamic customs. The groom’s father also recited a special poem to celebrate the union. The extravagant reception took place on June 4 at the Saeed Hall in the Dubai World Trade Center.
   
3. Honeymoon: In August of the same year, the couple traveled to Greece for their honeymoon. A series of pictures from their vacation showed them enjoying jet ski rides and exploring the streets of Mykonos.
4. Childbirth and Gender Reveal: In February 2024, they hosted a lavish gender reveal party and welcomed their first child in May. They shared a hospital photo on Instagram shortly after their daughter’s birth.
5. Separation: In July 2024, Sheikha Mahra removed all images of her husband from her official Instagram account. Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum has yet to comment on the divorce.
